Oberpollinger

Since 1905, this traditional department store has stood for an exceptional and premium-oriented range of luxury goods of all kinds. On behalf of the KaDeWe Group (KaDeWe, Alsterhaus, Oberpollinger), WBRE has been implementing the complete revitalization and modernization during ongoing operations since 2016.

The challenge of not interfering with the customer, coordination with over 60 luxury labels across Europe and intensive logistics management are an integral part of this demanding project. The renowned London-based architectural firm John Pawson Architects is responsible for the planning of the 35,000 m² of net retail space spread over seven floors. The restructuring and modernization of the entire construction project is expected to be completed in 2022.
